  • Offshore living quarters by EMTUNGA

Embracing Swedish innovation in quality, efficiency and predictable deliveries worldwide 🌍 Our VP Project Management, Carl-Henrik Gustafsson, was asked to summarize the main advantages of using modular solutions by EMTUNGA to reach the goals of projects or plans. "By modularizing solutions, design and fabrication can run in parallel with flexibility through complex scheduling production batches. Module sections are manufactured separately in the workshop floor off-site in a highly repetitive and controlled construction process resulting in: 🔷 Safe working environment and avoiding working at heights 🔷 Industry-leading quality, flexibility and predictability 🔷 Shorter lead time than conventional construction We fabricate and design back-to-back. Our execution model is fast, right-on-time and robust, we call it the EMTUNGA Modular Way!" 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 Our modules meet the toughest standards in all industries (including NORSOK A-001:2021). That is a bold claim, but we have fifty years of experience and deliveries to all continents and seas to back that claim. We can also scale requirements to fit the unique needs of each project. 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Our solutions can be delivered as 100% turnkey, as a single unit, in module sections or as a complete local construction. The workforce strategy for executing the on-site installation is fully customizable. We adapt the installation based on needs, laws and regulations. EMTUNGA can take the lead, manage the whole on-site installation or collaborate seamlessly with local contractors or workforce. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 Our modules are built to last with a focus on sustainable work ethics and deliveries, and with building materials sourced as close as possible to the fabrication site to reduce transportation and promote local production. We are also committed to making living quarters where you can work, live and thrive - they should be your home away from home. Don't hesitate to contact us about living quarters, offshore solutions or solutions on land.

  • AFRY/Emtunga on antibiotic production assignment for the Norwegian Helsedirektoratet

Norwegian Directorate of Health, Helsedirektoratet, is an authority working with advisory and implementation of regulations in the health sector. Now, a cross functional team from Menon Economics, AFRY and Emtunga Solutions works on an assignment for the Norwegian Directorate of Health, with the purpose of analyzing technical and economic conditions for building an antibiotic production facility in Norway. Production of pharmaceuticals and medicine can help improve countries' preparedness. The production of antibiotics is advanced and requires both facilities and expertise. To date there are no facilities that produce antibiotics in Norway. The analysis will have focus on both the economical prerequisites of, and technical aspects for establishing an antibiotic production in Norway. The study will consider, analyses of the market and sales, as well as operation- and construction costs for the antibiotics to be produced. The study will look at several alternatives and conduct a sustainability analysis for each case with an initial calculation of the climate footprint and emissions from the proposed facility. “The perfect match between AFRY and Emtunga competencies have thrown open a large window of opportunity to re-enter the Life Science market for EPC modular facilities. We are excited about the early successes in our cooperation, together we can compete as a world class supplier of EPC projects.” (Christofer Edström, Managing Director of Emtunga) The feasibility study will be a basis for decisions in the Norwegian Government Stortinget at the turn of the year 2021-2022. • Fabrication milestone reached on ACE living quarters project

Emtunga Solutions reaches fabrication milestone on ACE living quarters for BP Caspian: First sub-assembly ready and put in storage. Using our flexible modular fabrication model, the Emtunga Modular Way, we have optimized the delivery of module sections to Baku in Azerbaijan by pre-assembling the sections 3 and 3. The units are still small enough to ship on an ordinary Volga-canal ship whilst reducing the space occupied at the assembly yard and the number of crane lifts involved during final assembly. The living quarters are scheduled to be installed on the topsides in 2021.
