Operator Equinor has got permission from Norwegian Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) to start using the Martin Linge platform and associated offshore pipelines in the North Sea and onshore control room.
The North Sea Martin Linge field is an oil and gas discovery made in 1978, and was previously called Hild. The field is located 42 kilometres west of Oseberg, in 115 metres of water. Equinor became the operator of the Martin Linge field in March, 2018.
Emtunga Solutions AB delivered the Martin Linge LQ and Helideck in May 2018 to the operator Equinor. The project was original managed by Total as operator and was ordered as an EPCC contract in April 2013. Engineering/Design, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning was performed in Emtunga’s facilities in Gothenburg/Vara. The LQ was delivered as a single unit delivery from Emtunga’s workshop in Gothenburg, Sweden.
