Your main responsibilities as Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, you will report to the company's VP Business Development and be responsible for the development of a portfolio of projects in line with the company's business plan. You will support and establish structured partnerships to generate multiple leads and prospects.
You will also be responsible for leading the tender work, project cost estimate and pricing as well as leading commercial negotiations to finalise the agreements with the support of the EMTUNGA team.
The role essentially includes the following responsibilities and tasks:
Develop and implement the company's business strategy: Lead the development and implementation of our business strategy, including identifying and evaluating new business opportunities and projects.
Responsible for all phases of project development, including feasibility studies, environmental impact assessments, permitting processes and contract finalisation.
Create and manage strategic partnerships with relevant stakeholders, including local authorities, energy companies and property companies
Lead project pricing and commercial negotiations to secure contracts and deal closure. Responsible for reporting project opportunities and progress in our CRM tool
Develop the company's project portfolio in line with the company's business plan
Support and establish structured partnerships to generate more opportunities
Adapt the projects to sales with the support of other departments in the company
Estimate project costs and pricing

With curiosity and creativity, you keep up to date with the latest developments in your area of responsibility
Ability to adapt to different cultures, rules and regulations
An academic degree in economics, business administration, engineering or similar
At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in large international organisations, preferably in the energy sector
At least 5 years of professional experience in solution selling, preferably in offshore wind power industry
Experience in Turn-key project deliveries
Solid understanding of commercial and legal terms for equipment sales and service agreements
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Excellent English (verbal and written)
Preferably excellent Swedish (verbal and written)
